Michael C. Nicoson, MD is a Louisville, KY native who completed his medical degree at the University of Louisville. Upon graduation, he completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. While completing his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency, he completed a research fellowship in peripheral nerve injury and regeneration at Washington University in St. Louis.
Post residency, Dr. Nicoson further advanced his surgical training by completing an orthopedic hand and microsurgery fellowship at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Nicoson is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has sub specialty certification in Hand Surgery.
